Clearing the cache can help resolve various issues, such as slow loading times outdated content, and errors. This article will guide you through the process of emptying the cache in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

Google Chrome

Step 1: Open the Developer Console

There are a few ways to do this:

  • Control+Shift+I (Windows)

  • Option+Command+I (Mac)

  • View > Developer > Developer Tools

  • Simply right-click anywhere on the page and choose "Inspect"

Step 2: Right-click the refresh icon

Step 3: Choose Empty Cache and Hard Reload from the dropdown

Microsoft Edge
