Editing PDF's

O&D allows for the editing of text directly within a PDF, which is especially useful for documents that were created in another format, such as Word, and later saved as PDFs. For example, if you need to update a closing date or modify paragraphs within a PDF, O&D can handle these changes. However, editing PDFs in O&D requires first converting the file into an editable format (similar to using Word to save a PDF as a DOCX file). Since PDFs have a fixed layout, this conversion process may sometimes lead to formatting inconsistencies. If you are experiencing formatting inconsistencies, refer to the best practices.

PDF form fields

O&D does not support filling in PDF form fields. These are the interactive elements in a PDF that you can click or type into when opened in a program like Adobe Acrobat. As a workaround, you could convert the PDF into a Word document. In the document, insert square bracket placeholders ([ ]) where you want to replace or add text. Once you've updated these placeholders in O&D, you can choose to save your document as a PDF from the save options in O&D.
