Within your organization, super admins and admins have control and visibility within your organization with workspace and matter configuration settings.

Private Default for New Workspaces and Matters

Admins are able to set new workspaces and matters to private by default. Private workspaces and matters can only be seen by members of the organization who have been invited to collaborate on these workspaces and matters by the workspace/matter owners.

Workspace Creation Permissions

Disable Public Workspaces: Admins can choose whether public workspaces are permitted within the organization. This feature provides greater control over the visibility and accessibility of workspaces.

Admin-Only Workspace Creation: Streamline who can create new workspaces by limiting this ability to admins only, or choose to allow both members and admins to create them. This flexibility allows for tighter control over your organization's workspace management.

These features can be accessed only by admins in your Settings > Organization > Permissions section.

These settings change the defaults, but workspace/matter owners can still change individual items to public by clicking on one of the Share buttons in O&D.

Comment Section Warning

Admins can enable a warning message that displays whenever users open the comment section, reminding them to avoid sharing sensitive information. Personal data or confidential details should not be included in comments.

To enable this feature, toggle on Show comment section warning in Settings > Security & Config > Matter Settings.

Once enabled, users will see the warning by hovering over a row and selecting Open Row, then selecting Comments in the side panel.
