We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, we’re thrilled to introduce Office & Dragons 2.0—our biggest update yet! This release brings a fresh new look and significant improvements across the platform to help you work more efficiently.
Faster, More Intuitive Navigation System
Creating and finding the matter you need is now faster and easier. You can now create, search and access matters directly from the side panel, making it easier than ever to jump between matters without disrupting your workflow. Plus, we’ve added a Favorites section in the sidebar, so your most important matters are always within reach. To add a matter to your favorites, simply navigate to it and click in the top right corner.
A Smarter, Faster File Manager
Managing your documents is now more streamlined with enhancements:
Recently Saved & Starred Sections provide quick access to important files, eliminating the need for manual searches.
A dedicated Type column allows you to easily identify redlines, new documents, and other file types at a glance.
Improved search functionality and better organization tools help you retrieve and manage files more efficiently.
Snapshots are now called Saved Packages these are ZIP folders containing your New Documents and Redlines, making it easier to organize and share key files.
Upgraded Table Component
Working with large tables, this ones for you! Our optimized table component now delivers smoother scrolling, improved responsiveness, and faster load times, ensuring a seamless experience, even with extensive data.
New customization Tools
We’ve added a brand-new Appearance section in your profile settings. Now you can personalize the color of your platform interface to match your favorite hue—or align it with your firm’s branding. Just head to your profile, choose a color theme, and make Office & Dragons feel more like your space.
Smarter Admin Search in Data Management
For admins, we’ve supercharged the Data Management search. Previously, you could only search by matter. Now you can filter and search by:

Owner – helpful for identifying matters belonging to former users

Docusign Integration
This integration is built to help you save time and reduce manual work by allowing you to generate tailored document suites and envelopes for multiple recipients simultaneously within our Merge workflow. Once created, envelopes can be sent directly to Recipients or sent to Docusign as drafts, giving you greater flexibility and control over your document execution process.
Getting started is simple! Admins can enable the integration from the Organization Settings under Integrations. Once it’s active, users can connect their individual DocuSign accounts via Profile Settings. From there, you'll be ready to streamline your signature workflows directly within the platform. Apply to file name only editing option
Need to update a document’s filename without altering its contents? We’ve got you covered.
The new “Apply to filename only” option lets you rename documents quickly —ideal for workflows where the document body must remain unchanged.

Under Global Editing option in the toolbar
Within Columns in Document generation/Rows Editing in Mass Editing.
Admins can apply organizations logo within the app and on public forms
With this update, admins can upload and apply your organization’s logo directly within the Office & Dragons platform. Once enabled, your logo will appear in the sidebar of the app and will also be displayed on public-facing forms, including in the top-right corner alongside your organizations name. This ensures that every interaction, whether internal or client-facing, reflects your organizations identity.
Effortless One-to-Many Document Comparison
When the other side sends back a suite of documents or you’ve made offline changes across several related documents, you no longer need to manually set up each comparison. With one-to-many comparison toggle you can now select a single base document and automatically match it against multiple updated versions in one go.
To try it out, create a Versions workflow and upload your base document. Then, click the Batch Upload button above your table to add your updated documents. Simply toggle on “Clone to One-to-Many Comparisons”—the platform will automatically pair your original document with each new version for easy, side-by-side comparison. Learn more here.
Smarter Matter Management with Retention Controls.
Admins can now set customized data retention policies on matters. These controls allow you to specify when a matter should expire, define actions upon expiration (such as moving to trash or permanent deletion), and set how long items remain in trash before final removal.
How It Works & Key Benefits:
Admins determine matter expiration dates and preferred actions upon expiry.
Two weeks prior to scheduled deletion, all matter members will see a warning icon beside the matter name, complete with a tooltip displaying the planned deletion date.
These settings help ensure compliance, streamline data governance, and reduce unnecessary data storage.
Improved Save Resilience and Speed
We’ve enhanced our document processing engine to make saving your documents faster and more robust, even when individual documents hit a snag. For example if a document encounters an issue say, your base file has a formatting hiccup the Save Manager will flag it without disrupting the entire batch.
Instead of stalling, the system continues processing the rest of your documents. At the end, you’ll receive a clear summary highlighting which files were successfully saved and which ones need your attention.
Job Titles and Departments in Profile Settings
You can now add your job title and department (or practice group) using predefined options—or type your own if needed. To check it out go to your Profile settings > Account.
For admins, these new fields flow into usage and data management tables, giving you richer insights for reporting and oversight and will also be available in the downloaded csv so know you know which department created which matters and documents!
Smoother Row-by-Row Review
We’ve refreshed the expanded row pop-out layout to give you more screen space, better organization, and a cleaner flow for reviewing documents row by row. The new layout helps you focus with less clutter and friction. This helps you get through your review process quickly, confidently, and without distraction.
Docusign Envelope Control for Admins
For admins within Integration Settings, you’ll now find a dropdown that lets you control whether the “Send Immediately” button for DocuSign is visible to users. This lets you enforce stricter approval workflows and maintain a closer grip on when and how envelopes are sent. For organizations with more complex or regulated approval processes, this change ensures signature flows stay aligned with internal policies and compliance needs.
Easier Sharing from the Sidebar
Sharing is now just a click away. You can now share matters directly from the sidebar using the updated three-dot menu. This means you can initiate collaboration without drilling down into menus or clicking into matters. Now getting the right people involved is faster and more seamless than ever.
